FAQ schema,
the easy way.

Type your questions and answers and get clean, valid FAQPage JSON-LD to paste into your page: machine-readable Q&A that helps search engines and AI assistants understand your content.

Add each question and its answer. Only complete pairs are included.

Your FAQPage JSON-LD

Paste into the <head> of the page the FAQs appear on. Note: Google now shows FAQ rich results mainly for government and health sites, but this markup still helps AI answers and keeps your Q&A machine-readable. Want it built in? We handle schema ↗

This builds standard schema.org FAQPage markup from what you enter, in your browser. Only mark up questions and answers that genuinely appear on the page, and confirm with Google's Rich Results Test.

Questions

Good to
know.

What is FAQ schema and do I still need it?

FAQ schema (FAQPage JSON-LD) marks up your questions and answers so machines can read them. Google has scaled back FAQ rich results to mostly government and health sites, so it rarely adds those dropdowns in search anymore. But the markup still helps AI answer engines and assistants quote you accurately, and it costs nothing to include. This tool builds valid FAQPage markup from your Q&A.

Where do I put the FAQ schema?

Put it in the <head> of the specific page where those questions and answers actually appear on screen. The content must match the markup. Don't add FAQ schema for Q&A that isn't visible on the page, and use it on one relevant page rather than site-wide. Then check it with Google's Rich Results Test.
