A favicon in
a few clicks.
Turn a letter, an emoji, or your logo into a real favicon.ico plus an Apple touch icon, generated in your browser at every size a browser tab needs. Nothing uploaded.
Put favicon.ico at your site root and add <link rel="icon" href="/favicon.ico" sizes="any"> in your <head>. We set this up on every site we build.
Everything is generated in your browser and nothing is uploaded. The .ico contains real 16, 32 and 48px images; emoji appearance depends on the device viewing it, as emoji are drawn by the operating system.
Good to
know.
How do I make a favicon for my website?
You need a small icon that reads clearly at 16×16 pixels: usually a single letter, a simple emoji, or a clean logo mark on a solid background. Make it here, download favicon.ico, drop it at your site's root, and add one link tag in your head. This tool builds a real multi-size .ico (16, 32 and 48px) plus PNGs, all in your browser.
What favicon sizes and formats do I need?
A favicon.ico containing 16, 32 and 48px covers browser tabs and search results, and a 180×180 PNG (apple-touch-icon) covers iPhone/iPad home screens. This tool exports all of them. The classic .ico at your site root also matters because Google and some browsers request /favicon.ico directly.
